Stephanie, Director of Clinics, describes some of the great opportunities and positions available at Vail Health
About the Position
The Care Technician assists nurses in providing health care to patients. When a patient is first admitted to Vail Health, you will likely be their first point-of-contact and a liaison between the patients and their providers. You will measure vital signs, monitor the health and well-being of patients, keep accurate records, and assist with patients' basic needs. In order to achieve optimal patient outcomes, you will need to promptly report any changes to the registered nurse or physician. You will need to be available for regular check-ins with your patients, to transport them to different departments as needed, and to educate patients and their family on the care and therapies being provided.
The Care Philosophy

Vail Health places the patient and family at the center of the organizational focus. This model, known as Relationship-Based Care (RBC), enables patients to be active participants in their health care.
